Abucs scubA "Admiral C"
Once more into the breech.
Captain Paul Hurford takes us out on another safe fun dive trip. This time its off to the wreck at Ash Island, "the Dumper". Another great wreck to dive in the St. Lawrence River.
THe story is that the hapless sailors decided to moor the vessel full of rocks close to the island and spend the night partaking of the local colour and beverages. Upon returning in the mists of early morning they were dumbfounded to discover that their vessel had completely disappeared! Imagine having to explain that to the owner!
Decades later she was discovered right there, on the bottom at 90 to 100'. Avid SCUBA divers visit her on a regular basis now.
Have a listen!
