Seasonal Anxiety the "off season"

Divers are adventurers.

They'll dive anywhere to see whats at the bottom, the fish life, or search for their own brand of treasure.
Prime examples are the intrepid divers who dive in the Tennessee River in search of artifacts like muskets, sward bails, knives, pistols and artifacts.  Or the divers who dive the rivers in Florid looking for fossilized sharks teeth.

The owner of Leisure Time Dive & Snow Ski Center is another prime example -
a prime example of a successful dive store owner.  And a store owner who has developed a way to keep income fairly level throughout the year.

As you can imagine from the name, during the winter "off season" he sells Ski equipment among other things.  Keeps the store open, maintains stock, and sets up ski excursions in between classes and diving trips to warmer climes.
There is no doubt that Gary is an enterprising guy.
Gregarious and quick to smile with a ready wit he is justifiably proud of his store.  You can tell he has put a lot of time and effort into it.

Meet Gary in the video below and by all means stop by and see him when you are in Chattanooga - sign up for one of his diving adventures.
(As one ex commercial diver to another I have to admit I have a soft spot for Gary who is a member of the same frat)

I owned a dive shop a few years ago, up here in northern NY. I remember the approach of the end of the season being filled with anxiety.
I bet you can relate:
Had you made enough money to carry through the off season?
How will you make the boat payments?
What can you do during the off season to generate income?
What can you do next season to make even more money - without hiring an army or cloning yourself?

The bank account gets thinner and thinner!
The weather gets colder and grayer.
How long can you put off closing for the season?

is there another way?

I believe their is.

We'll explore it later ,,,,,,,,

Meantime, here's Gary:

(You will need increase your volume to hear this properly)

Safe adventures wherever you go diving.
Scott
