Why join a social network?

Yeah, well that was kinda my response too.  I mean whats all the buzz about FaceBook anyway ?

Well then I decided to check it out anyway. (REASON 1: Curiosity)
There I found people from all over who are divers, and lots who aren't but non the less interesting.
So I seemed to have a lot in common with most of them them, besides they are all invited anyway.
But there were more non-divers than divers.  (REASON 2: similar interests)

So this got me thinking how about a social site that was exclusively for divers!?
Then everyone who joined would have at least the same basis for getting involved.
That, and my having been a diver all my life so I knew what divers liked.
Above all they like to share stories.
What better place to do that then on a social network (REASON 3:  Sharing stories)

Hey,,,,, when you go see a great movie you share it and your opinions with your friends and family, right?
Well we love to share the great dive sites, charters, dive shops, and diver facilities with fellow divers too.

SO, reasons to join THE Diver's Social Network:
Curiosity - Who else has joined?  What stories do they have to tell? What great sites have they explored?

Similar Interests - Everyone you invite will most likely be a diver too.  They too will have opinions on equipment, techniques, probably a solution to one of your vexing problems too.

Sharing Stories - yeah well we all love to do that!  There is also  an Open Dive Log subject in the forum so everyone can enter their most recent dive (with stats) to share.  Just like those other huge social networks our diver's social network'll have picture sharing, video sharing and a place for your bio too.

There is also  the beginnings of a network for dive shops to share information on their successes and find out how others are succeeding.  Same thing for Liveaboard SCUBA Charter operators, theres a network for you too.

C'mon and join us at http://www.divejunkee.com/ when it rolls out in a week or two.

Invite  friend!  ITS ALL FREE ! ! ! !

See you there.

SCOTT.
